Mary Wilson Reilly (Newbridge, Co. Kildare), a student at Holy Family Secondary School, volunteers at several organisations. She has raised €2,200 for Cara Projects in Kenya which helps provide girls with shelter, food and care. Mary had the opportunity to travel to Kenya with her team and assisted with painting schools and building flats in support of the local community.

Mary also represents her community on the county panel for Comhairle na nÓg and is a vice chairperson of her local youth club Milltown Foróige. She is also involved in the Holy Family Youth Group where she mentors first-year students.

“Mary is a regular attendee at the Youth Club and is an excellent role model for the younger teens. She is a lovely, pleasant girl and extremely helpful and thoughtful,” shares Mary Boland, volunteer leader at Milltown Foróige. “She puts herself forward for every task and events that we run benefitting her club, school, community and county.”
